We called home the morning Juneau was born after Jae work up and Joey told her that the baby had come. "THE BABY CAME OUT OF MAMA'S TUMMY!" she screamed on the phone, lol. When Joey went to pick her up he told her that she was going to Grandma and Grandpa's house, but we were going to go see the baby first. She told him she didn't want to go see the baby. I think that even though we told her the baby was here, she didn't really understand that the baby was actually here and that she could touch her and hold her. Because when she walked in the hospital room and saw that there was indeed a baby here, it was love at first sight in her eyes.
She immediately asked to hold her and touch her. She was soooo excited.
Juneau is the first thing that Jae asks about and looks for each morning when she gets to our room (where we get ready for the day). She rushes to her bed, or to the chair if I am sleeping with the baby to see and touch her right away.
When Joey takes her to bed at night and I am feeding the baby, I ask for goodnight hugs and kisses and she always makes sure that Juneau gets some too.
If Juneau cries, Jae says, "Oh no!" and rushes over to comfort her. It's a little overbearing (lol), but sweet.
I'm very blessed to have two sweet baby girls to love <3
And Dada is smitten of course :)
We all are sure loving on baby Juneau!
